Scope of Proposal:	Rationale and Objectives Integration of communication, localization and sensing (COM/LOC/SENS)functionalities by a self-consistent heterogeneous and flexible system available to individuals and clouds of users will provide a multiplicity of innovative services and applications Reconfigurable heterogeneous telecommunication infrastructure integrating localization and sensing capabilities, terrestrial and satellite segments and intelligent objects and networks New architectures and infrastructures have to be defined considering a plurality of services and applications with a low (ideally with no) reset effort Synergistic use of advanced cognitive, cooperative and context- and location-aware technologies Distributed system intelligence and application programmable interfaces (API)
Resources needed:	Two big players in satellite and terrestrial wireless domain interested to integrated heterogeneous system (one should be the prime).Many SMEs interested in application/services provision.Few research institution on specific scientific/technical issues.
