5G-XHaul final demonstration day

The 5G PPP 5G-XHaul project holds its final demonstration on June 27th 2018.
The 5G-XHaul solution has been integrated in a real network in the city of Bristol, UK, consisting of a combination of novel wireless and optical technologies which are autonomously managed by a software defined control plane.
At the final demonstration day, 5G-XHaul will showcase the transport of backhaul and fronthaul services simultaneously throughout a single infrastructure, as well as the benefits of having an SDN control plane managing an heterogeneous backhaul network encompassing millimeter wave and Sub-6 hardware.
