Programme Participation hints

Some dramatic changes in H2020 are related to the strict limitations on how much a proposal can be changed in the negotation phase.

Because of this, it is very important that 5G-PPP proposers include all essential items in their proposal to demonstrate their full understanding of the role their proposal/project will play in the 5G-PPP program if selected.

This means that the proposals must demonstrate that they have dedicated resources for program level activities and will actively contribute to making the 5G-PPP program have a greater impact as a whole than the projects acting individually could ever achieve.

To promote this discussion and understanding, the 5G-Infrastructure-Association board has agreed to allow the publication of a discussion document, prepared by EURESCOM, on this website.

This document has been prepared by people who intend to propose a support action for the 5G-PPP program and have investigated the various contracts and technical annexes relating to the 5G-PPP to understand the working structures proposed therein and to translate this into an idea of the level of commitment each proposal/project should be prepared to make towards the program.

The ambition is that all proposers are equally informed about the program level commitments that will be expected and have the opportunity to include adequate provisions in their individual proposals.  This in turn should enable the set of projects finally selected to work efficiently and effectively collectively from the start.
