5G IA is hosting the 7th Global 5G Event – ‘Creating the Smart Digital Future’ on 17-18 June in Valencia, Spain in co-operation with the leading 5G visionary organizations from Brazil, China, Japan, the Americas and the Republic of Korea.
Brussels, 30th April 2019 – 5G IA will host the 7th edition of the Global 5G Event – www.7thglobal5gevent.eu – on 17-18 June in Valencia (Spain). The Global 5G Event is a unique series of summits organised by the world’s leading 5G organisations committed to bringing 5G technology successfully to their country or region. It has been developed in the framework of a multilateral Memorandum of Understanding in the interest of building global consensus on 5G and achieving efficiencies in the roll-out.
The agenda features top class international presenters including business leaders, engineers, professors, technical experts and policymakers. The sessions will cover key aspects of 5G technology like global 5G spectrum harmonization and regulatory issues, 5G from the verticals perspective, 5G trials and pre-commercial launches, key challenges to 5G roll out across the globe, and some thoughts on developments beyond 5G. In addition, two technical sessions will focus on cross regional 5G project ambitions and real world 5G performance KPI measurement.
In addition to the conference presentations, the 7th Global 5G Event will also showcase state of the art 5G demonstrations by over 50 research and innovation projects.

About 5G Brasil
The main objective of the 5G Brasil project is to foster the development of the 5G ecosystem in Brazil and contribute to the global definition of this technology.
