5G PPP is organising a conference on “5G in France and in Europe: challenges and perspectives” in cooperation with IREST (Institut de Recherches Economiques et Sociales sur les Télécommunications) and ISEP (Ecole d’ingénieurs du numérique). The conference will take place near Paris in ISEP offices (10 rue de Vanves, Issy-les-Moulineaux) on Thursday 7 June, 2018 at 6:00 pm.
Jean-Pierre Bienaimé, President of IREST and Secretary General of 5G-IA will provide details on 5G PPP projects and initiatives. Peter Stuckmann, head of Future Connectivity Systems Unit will represent EC. Orange and Nokia will also intervene. Automobiles Peugeot will present the automotive vertical, and the Phase 2 Project IoRL will be included in the panel.
Sebastien Soriano, chairman of ARCEP, the French Regulator, will comment on the nine 5G pilot cities in France, whereas the ministry of Economy will comment on the results of the public consultation they launched in France last February on the future 5G strategy for the whole country.
